The Story

The story of Crocodile Shark was borne from an early morning walk with my three young children. We would pretend that the big sheepdog belonging to the fruit shop owner wasn't a dog at all, but actually a fearsome "Crocodile Shark". The fun we had screaming and running away from this imaginary creature was something I thought we could share with others and the story quickly took shape.

Crocodile Shark is relatable for young children and grown-ups alike, taking a funny but still poignant look at courage, fear and acceptance. The story has been delighting young children and early-readers, gaining praise for its amusing story, vibrant illustrations and ability to spark up compelling conversations about its key themes.
